Asantehene Osei Tutu Ababio - The first year.

Last year Kwaku Akuoko predicted that the new Asantehene will be called Osei Tutu II and if that happened, it would be the rebirth of the Asante nation. He was correct on the first score, and it looks like his second prediction is on course too.

This site is devoted to the history, culture and concerns of Asantes all over the world. We hope to be able to provide a venue to articulate the interests and aspirations of Asantes and hope you will continue to come back from time to time.

In the mean time we would like contributors to our magazine. If you wish to contribute towards the magazine in any form please contact the webmaster. Contributions are welcome in English and Twi. We do currently have Twi fonts but because it is not one of the major font, it transcribes into something else unless you have Twi fonts. We would particularly like to hear from anybody who has developed Twi fonts which visitors could download. If you can help, please contact the webmaster.
